The new MINI family is doing its warm-up laps – and that works best on ice and snow in the bitter cold of the Arctic Circle. The new MINI is currently undergoing its driving dynamics tests at the BMW Group’s winter test centre in Arjeplog, Sweden. The new edition of the MINI is fully electric and is now completing a major chapter in its series development process with the winter testing in Sweden. The electric drivetrain, high-voltage battery, power electronics and charging technology of the prototypes are already demonstrating their high degree of maturity at extreme temperatures below freezing. Snow-covered roads and specially prepared areas on frozen lakes also serve as ideal test tracks on which the characteristics of the drive, steering and chassis can be very sensitively tested, refined and harmonised with each other.

MINI USA announces the launch of three new special editions that will extend across the full 2023 model range as of March 2022 production. The MINI Resolute Edition will be available on the MINI Hardtop 2 Door including the MINI Cooper SE electric vehicle, the MINI Hardtop 4 Door and the MINI Convertible. The MINI Untold Edition will be available on the MINI Clubman, including the 301hp high-performance John Cooper Works model, and the MINI Untamed Edition will be available on the MINI Countryman including the MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 plug-in hybrid model. This is the first time that MINI will produce a full range of special editions across the current model lineup, all to be launched at the same time.

MINI USA announced the addition of a fourth special edition to already robust special edition lineup – The MINI Brick Lane Edition. Inspired by London’s home of street art, the Heart of the East End, where the city’s most vibrant bustle of sounds, colors and tastes takes place, the MINI Brick Lane Edition has individuality as its trademark. The 2022 MINI Brick Lane edition will hit U.S. dealers in March as both Cooper S Hardtop 2 Door and 4 Door, with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $35,675 for the Hardtop 2 Door and $36,675 for the Hardtop 4 Door, plus an additional $850 for Destination and Handling.
