After months of anticipation, the third generation 2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP is finally here, and for one dedicated and creative MINI fan from upstate New York, the wait was made a little shorter and a lot more special. Longtime MINI owner, enthusiast and YouTube Vlogger Nick Tubbs of Ithaca, N.Y., was the winner of the video submission contest held by MINI USA for all customers with current reservations for the latest limited edition and highest-performing MINI ever built. The submissions were evaluated by the MINI USA team to see who has the most creative, passionate, and convincing reason worthiest to own MINI GP3 #0001. The winning reservation holder was presented with the option to purchase or lease model #0001 from their local authorized MINI dealer.

MINI USA Expands Value-Oriented MINI Oxford Edition To All Customers, & Introduces MINI Countryman Oxford Edition.
MINI USA today announced that it is now making its value-oriented MINI Oxford Edition line-up available to all customers. In addition, MINI USA has added the versatile 2020 MINI Countryman to the MINI Oxford Edition lineup, joining the 2-door and 4-door MINI Oxford Edition models in offering customers even more value, substance, style, safety and fun expected of a MINI.
Availability of the MINI Oxford Edition, which was previously offered exclusively to current and recently graduated college students, and active duty and recently retired U.S. military, has now been expanded at a time when many customers may be experiencing financial challenges due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aged Batteries
• Batteries nearing the end of their life can fail if not used on a daily basis.
• It can take up to 20-30 mins of driving to re-charge a battery that has been sitting.
• We recommend that multi-car families alternate driving vehicles to maintain battery charge levels
• If your vehicle is slow to start after sitting for a few days, if may be best to contact us to check your vehicle before quarantine ends and your normal travel resumes.
Tire Pressure Warnings (TPM Lights)
• As the temperature starts to change during this time of year, the air pressure in your car’s tires will change with it, as cold contracts (pressure down) while heat expands (pressure up).
• Manufacturers are aware of this and have programmed your tire monitoring system to have an acceptable pressure “window” to compensate for these temperature changes
• The tire monitor system will activate the warning light if, your pressure is lower than the window or higher than the window. Either way, it’s best to address the issue as soon as possible.
MINI USA and Paramount Pictures host virtual screening of the italian job for mini community
MINI USA hosted a virtual movie night in collaboration withParamount Pictures, presenting The Italian Job (2003) to hundreds of MINI enthusiasts across the country. The virtual screening held online Monday, May 13, at 8:00 pm ET, was attended by more than 350 MINI owners who generated over 1,470 chat messages in the virtual screening platform.
The evening event was hosted by Mike Peyton, Vice President, MINI of the Americas, who welcomed the group, shared trivia questions during the intermission, chatted with members of the community in real time during the movie, and closed out the night with a live Q&A session with owners.
“We know that our owners love to gather and enjoy each other’s company, something that is not possible right now due to social distancing,” said Mike Peyton, Vice President, MINI of the Americas. “It is important for MINI to bring our community together. It is what MINI is all about.”
Last month, in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, MINI USA officially postponed MINI TAKES THE STATES . The legendary road rally for MINI owners, which was set to take place from July 18 – 26, 2020. It will be rescheduled for summer 2021.
